Who?
All home school students ages 9-18
When?
Wednesdays & Fridays. 12 Wednesday rehearsals and 12 Friday rehearsals each semester. No make ups for missed rehearsals. Please check the current years calendar for specific dates.
Fall Semester
- 12 rehearsals between September and early December
- December Concert concludes the semester
Spring Semester
- 12 rehearsals between mid January and April
- Spring Concert concludes the semester

Time?
On Wednesdays, Beginning Band will meet in sectional rehearsals:
| 11:00 – 11:50 | Beginning Woodwinds & Brass Sections (no prior experience) |
| 12:00 – 12:50 | Beginning Percussion Section (no prior experience) |
| 1:00 – 1:50 | Intermediate Band (students who have finished method book 1) |
| 2:00 – 2:50 | Concert Band (audition required to be placed in this band level) |
Friday rehearsal schedule will be:
| 12:30 – 1:20 | All Beginning Band Students |
| 1:30 – 2:20 | Intermediate Band |
| 2:30 – 3:20 | Concert Band |
Where?
Rehearsals will be at Popplers Music:
1119 W 41st Sioux Falls 57105.
Students are to arrive 10 min before rehearsal time and be set up and ready to play when rehearsal time begins. All cell phones MUST be turned off.
Cost?
$250 per student per semester if registered/paid by deadline (Aug 4 for Fall Semester, Jan 4 for Spring Semester)
After the deadline date cost will be $265.

Both of these are sold at Popplers Music - Portable folding music stand for rehearsals

Where to Start?
An Instrument Petting Zoo will be held at Popplers Music in August for new students to “touch and feel” instruments as they decide what they want to play. Please check the calendar for current and specific information on this event.
