My kids have participated in the SF Homeschool Band since Heather Brenner started it in 2021 . We have thoroughly appreciated her leadership, ambition, and dedication to this program. Our kids have grown musically and have developed skills to participate in a band that they otherwise would not have. We value the concerts and special performances Heather arranges, along with the support of the band community. Thank you Heather for this outstanding program in the homeschool community!

Homeschool band has been a gift to our family. It has been a supportive and safe space for young musicians to go from never playing an instrument or performing in a band to performing high-quality, challenging, and meaningful musical pieces. She pulls them all together, teaching them about being an ensemble and puts on a great concert at the end of the semester.

SF Homeschool Band is one of our absolute favorite activities. Mrs. Brenner is the most fantastic person to work with my kids; she is encouraging, honest, and really seeks to help them grow and improve in both their musical skills as well as their life skills. My kids have loved their friendships with the other members of the band, and I have loved getting to know the other parents in the band. SF Homeschool band is a fantastic opportunity to learn, perform, and build relationships with others.
